Vibe Youth have vast experience in providing services to the most disadvantaged and economically marginalised young people and communities who are affected by poverty and hardship. Vibe Youth creates safe environments that challenge young people to identify and explore barriers that restrict them from fulfilling thier potential. Young people are struggling now more than ever, Vibe Youth address issues that inturn improves the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people. We are asking for support to reach our goal of £250 which will enable 10 young people to access workshops that will focus on supporting their wellbeing. We aim to provide services for these children, to help them meet others who are in similar situations and allow their family to talk to other families going through related experiences. At Heart Heroes we: Support children with heart diseases aged 0 – 16. Organise events and provide socialising opportunities for children to attend. We aim to introduce families with similar experiences so that they can support each other.

Specialist nurse to provide an hour of clinical support for a child who is end of life

A Heart Heroes Hug- contains arts/crafts, goodies and activities to send to make a Heart child smile who may be isolating, recovering from an operation or is about to have an operation.

Changes Bristol is a charity that helps people in mental health distress. One of our specialist services for vulnerable people in Bristol who need one-to-one support is our telephone befrinding service. A donation of £10 will cover the cost for a person to have a weekly call from a trained volunteer befriender for a month. 

Telephone befriending offers support to people who are vulnerable, isolated or need one-to-one support. We aim to match our volunteers and members with people who have similar lived experience or they may have something in common with. Calls last for one hour per week and are available to anyone over 18, without need of diagnosis or GP referral. We aim to support members within a 6 month period to allow them to feel ready to join group services.
