GRANT WISH
Young Carer WISHES FOR

a creative care package for someone living in isolation

£10.00

Your donation would provide a care package for someone living in isolation due to caring responsibilities and perhaps can’t get to a art group

Dover smART Project was founded in 2013 to provide opportunities for disadvantaged children in Dover to take part in a wide range of creative activities and experiences to boost their confidence, enhance their well-being, raise their aspirations and widen their outlook on the world. The charity soon evolved and began similar work with other groups, such as the people without a home and hospice patients, using art and creativity to support their various needs.

GRANT WISH
A homeless person WISHES FOR

Specialist advice to support them to take the next steps to a better life.

£25.00

For as little at £25, a member of the Sanctus Support Hub team can provide 1:1 specialist advice to someone homeless or struggling with other vulnerabilities. This initial contact can be the help that is needed for them to take the next steps and access wider support. These interactions can save lives.

GRANT WISH
Rainforest Trust UK WISHES FOR

Help to provide a lasting home for nearly half of all threatened species on Earth.

£20.00

Your donation will protect on average seven acres of rainforest in our most urgent carbon-rich projects, whose protection is vital in the fight against climate change.

And you will be providing a safe haven for countless animals, insects and plants, as tropical rainforests support over 50% of the world’s species, many of which are critically endangered.

The acres you save will also safely store, on average, over 1,000 metric tonnes of CO2e, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change around the world.

GRANT WISH
A Young Person WISHES FOR

Give a young person the opportunity to use our professional recording studio

£0.00

Our music studio has been running since 2008, offering young people the opportunity to express themselves and learn how to write and record music. Our trained sound technitians work with young people twice weekly to explore issues that are important to them and put it into something positive and expressive.

GRANT WISH
A young girl in a refugee camp WISHES FOR

A solar lamp to do her homework in the evening

£9.00

Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in Africa, girls have struggled significantly in being able to access education. This has been caused by many factors, including increased childcare responsibilities and household chores, while their male peers were able to continue their studies from home. When they finish with their chores, girls’ struggle to do their homework because of the lack of sunlight and electricity. To allow girls’ to catch up, we distribute solar lamps to the most in need girls so that they can do their homework and study in the evening.

GRANT WISH
young people WISHES FOR

Mental health peer support session

£15.00

We offer free mental health peer support sessions for children, young people, and their parents. These sessions help young people better understand their mental health challenges and navigate through the recovery journey. Your gift will fund a free peer support session. Sometimes, it’s just one session that can save a young person from self-harm. Over the last six months, we have supported 1430 families across the UK.

Our Mission

Deliver quality and accessible mental health services to children and young people on a large scale.

Our Vision

Build a bright and healthy future for children and young people.

Who we are?

We are a non-profit organization that uses technology to bring the right information and support for the mental health of children and young people.

Why do we do this?

We know how hard it is to find the right information and support at the right time. More than 70% of our team have lived or shared experience of mental health conditions. We founded Mindsum because we felt there’s a need for an all-in-one solution.

We want to make mental healthcare more accessible to children, young people, and their parents.

How do we do it?

We do this by providing the right information and giving access to the right therapists, as well as dedicating all our profits towards funding therapy for those who cannot afford to pay.

GRANT WISH
A person with leprosy WISHES FOR

An animal to bring them income

£35.00

If a person who has been treated with leprosy is provided with a cow or goat, then they can sell their milk and gain a reasonable income. This independence and income is vital to help them rebuild their lives after treatment, and to sustain themselves for the future.

GRANT WISH
A person needing mental health support WISHES FOR

access to an online peer support group to speak with others about what they're going through.

£5.00

Changes Bristol is a charity that helps people in mental health distress. We actively support almost 1,000 people, holding 10 online and 6 in-person weekly peer support groups. A donation of £5 will cover the cost for a person to join one of our online meetings.

Peer support is a regular gathering of people who have lived experience of poor mental health. These are facilitated by trained volunteers who will help to guide the meeting and allow everyone to have a chance to share and give feedback to their peers. At our meetings we help to encourage members to set goals for themselves so that they can start making small but measurable steps to becoming well again. We equip members with the tools they need to enable them to make positive changes to their lives. Regular members report increased feelings of confidence, resilience and self esteem.
